Atomic Energy Central School No.2 is a reputed school in Rawatbhata Township, started in the year 1982 in NTC colony in the name of "Rajasthan Atomic Power English Medium School" under the management of RAPS 1&2 and it continued till 03/08/1987. Later the school was taken over by AEES (Atomic Energy Education Society) and renamed as Atomic Energy Central School No.2.The medium of instruction is English and the school is affiliated to C.B.S.E. New Delhi.

Now the school has 776 students from Pre-Prep to class X and 44 staff members (as on 31-7-2016). It gives a platform to develop multiple talents of the child in various dimensions of the education. Our School aims to provide Child Centered education that provides students with multifaceted, CBSE based curriculum that will enable our students to develop independent thinking skills and creativity.

EIOP for Math and Science has been conducted as per CBSE guidelines.

All the children are being given I cards to create uniformity and identity amongst the children to AECS-2, RBT on 24/04/2017.

Investiture Ceremony for session 2017-18 on 25/04/2017 for classes 1 to 10 for entrusting the responsibilities of various school activities as School Prefects to make children better managers of tomorrow.

Local level Science , Social science mathematics and teaching aid Exhibtion in AECS-2,RBT on 28/04/2017

All India Inter AECS/JC Science , Social science, mathematics and teaching aid Exhibition 2017-18 for All 31 school under the auspices of Atomic Energy Education Society, Mumbai will be conducted on 10 &11 August 2017 at AECS-2,RBT following the guideline given by the NCERT and AEES , Mumbai.

A mediation programme will be held on 24/04/2017 in the premises from 9:00 am to 10.00 am for students and staff members.

For safety and security of students in the School Premises and public places and along side the road special program was arranged with the help of NGO in the month of July 2016 by Dr B.T patel.

No use of plastic is being executed in the school as per guideline of CBSE and AEES, Mumbai

No Leather bags etc are encouraged in the school.

10. Water conservation in all spheres of life is encouraged in school as in Rajasthan and all over water is precious for Mankind.

Examination:

First confidence Examination for the classes I to IX and the second confidence examination for the class X will be conducted from 16-02-2016 to 26-02-2016.

Board Examination for class X will commence from 02-03-2016 onwards.

Annual Examination for classes I to VIII will be conducted from 08-03-2016 to 19-03-2016

The board examination for class IX will commence from 13-03-2016 (Tentative) onwards.


Admission:

Admission to the wards of DAE Employees for the classes Pre-Prep to X commence from 08-02-2016


CCA and Sports Day will be celebrated on 10-02-2016. Shri.T.J.Kotteeswaran, Site Director, RR Site & Chairman, LMC, AEC Schools, Rawatbhata will be the Chief Guest and Mrs.K.Padmavathi will be the guest of honour.

Sports Camp for Students of Classes 4 to 11 will be orgainzed in AEC Schools from 23-3-2016 to 19-4-2016
