The School has the timings from 7.30 AM to 1.40 PM with a break of 30 minutes duration from 10.30 AM to 11.00 AM.

Office working hours

The office timing for the students are from 8.00 to 3.30 PM.

Every day consist of Eight periods and each period is of 40 minutes duration. The school works for six days per week except second saturday.

Rules and Regulations

  1. BOYS:

    White shirt (Half sleeves, inserted) without shoulder flaps, grey trousers, navy blue neck tie with light blue stripes (diagonal), navy blue canvas belt with brass buckle with school emblem.

  2. GIRLS:

    White salwar and grey kurta without shoulder flaps,white chunni (Duppatta); the sleeves of kurta should be 2" below the elbow. Also kurta should be of knee length size with close neck back.


    Black leather shoes with navy blue socks or white canvas shoes with white socks.

  1. Identity card must visibly displayed on self when present in the School premises.

  2. On monday and thursday uniform must be full white and white.

  3. Whenever a student enters the School campus, he/she should be in full School uniform only.

  4. Woolen garments should be of navy blue colour only.

  5. Dress regulations of the School should be strictly observed

  6. A student failing to attend the School in the prescribed unifom WILL NOT be permitted to attend the classes and there is every possibility of losing his/her attendance on this score.

  7. Chappals and sandals are strictly prohibited.

  8. During monsoon (duration will be announced by the School authorities) rainy footwear allowed.


A student must put in 75% of attendance in all subjects and cumulatively during each term. Also, he/she must satisfy the School in respect of his/her conduct. The School may cancel the admission if his/her conduct is not satisfactory or if he/she is irregular at any time during the term. Period wise/session wise attendance is followed to curb the tendencies relating to absenteeism or late reporting to the class without the permission of the competent authority. A student not fulfilling this criteria may be debarred from appearing in the Board Examination.


There will be two terms per academic year

  • I Term : April to September
  • II Term : October to March

Actual dates of commencement and close of said terms are declared by M.S.Board.


Every student is expected to obtain an identy card from the School office. The identy card will be issued every year after students surrender the cards issued to them for the previous year. Students are required to carry their identy card when they are in the School campus and must produce it whenever called upon to do so by the authorities. It is obligatory for students to return their identity cards to the School office when they cease to be students of the School. A student ceases to be on the rolls of the school only after issue of the T.C/SLC

  1. Conduct of the students in their classes as well as in the premises of the school shall be such that it causes no disturbance to fellow students, teachers or to other classes.

  2. Students must not loiter about or congregate in the school premises while the classes are in progress.

  3. Students shall do nothing either inside or outside the School premises while the classes are in progress.

  4. Students must take proper care of the school property and help in keeping premises neat and clean. Any damage done to the property of the School will have to be replaced/rectified by the students concerned.

  5. Students should, in their own interest, read the notices including those containing the rules made by the School/ Board/Government placed on the notice boards from time to time.

  6. If the continuance of a student in the School is detrimental to the best interest or the discipline of the School, the Principal may direct such a student to leave the School. The decision of the School authorities shall be final and binding on the students concerned.

  7. Students joining the School are requested to abide by all the rules, regulations and instructions that may be issued by the School authorities from time to time and to submit the normal enforcement of the same to the satisfaction of the School authorities, whose decision in all matters shall be final and the same shall not be questioned on any ground.

  8. The application form for SYJC to the M.S.Board will not be forwarded in case of those students who do not satisfy the minimum attendance requirement as stated in para above.
